The Canyon County Elections Office is always looking for civic-minded and detail-oriented individuals interested in serving as poll workers on Election Day. In order to apply, you must be 16 years of age or older and a U.S. Citizen.

The duties of a poll worker is to assist the Elections Office in administering elections by checking-in and registering voters at polling locations, ensuring they are provided the correct ballot, and helping explain to voters how to correctly cast their ballots. Poll workers must be able to work 14-hour days on Election Day, from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m. Poll workers will also be required to attend a short training session before each election.
